I am so disappointed in @UPS delivery service. The driver rang my intercom for a delivery that required a signature, & when I asked him to bring it to my door, he refused. I explained I just needed a moment to gather my baby + older son—only to come down & find he already left.

Sixelf was down for a bit regrettably… It is back up now and the sign ups can keep coming in!

Invested in a UPS so I won’t have to worry about my cpu dying or losing data if theres another power outage. Lines nearby are still being worked on and Im tired of worrying every time I hop on

Now my Pi babysits my media server and recovers it after an outage/flash via wake-on-lan Saved myself from buying a UPS

TIP: get yours an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)!! yet another power outage, another day where my PC stayed on with no issues until had time to properly close everything and shut it down 🙏

Power’s out. But I realized I had an unloaded, but plugged in UPS in my garage. So it, along with my step down transformer is powering my laptop and phone today :)

Poor service from Airtel. WiFi not working since a day now even after repeated follow-ups. No sense of urgency to resolve the issue. @airtelindia

#Heathrow If this were a datacentre then a power outage would go unnoticed in re. operational performance. Have the owners & management of Heathrow heard of uninterruptible power supplies [UPS]? All electrical systems critical to airport operations can be supported by UPS.

Had to cut my tf2 casual stream short due to a work emergency. Power issues caused a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) to blow up, bringing the internet down. Woohoo burning electronics smell!!!

Ahh ****, my Raspberry PI died so now #HomeAssistant is down I want to get a proper mini-pc to run HA now and not having to deal with low memory or not enough CPU power but I also don't want an electricity hog (because it gets connected to a UPS) Any recommendations?
