What's the ******* point in having an Android phone now if Google is going to block app installs from outside the Play Store unless the devs of said apps go through a verification process? I didn't want a locked down Apple phone but now my Android will soon be turned into one.

If I remember correctly, Europe (or at least one country from Europe) sides Epic against Apple because Apple was locked down to Apple store. But now Google gets in trouble because user can sideload apps outside of Google Play.
