Google NEEDS to STOP locking down Android. First Custom roms , now side loading.

Google locking down Android is a horrendous decision. Really don't want customers and developers to have the freedom to do what they want outside of their ecosystem I guess. Good thing AI is here, build your own phone OS!

Google is locking android down and banning sideloading, custom operating systems and anything from unverified developers. Everything is **** now.

The 'Publish to the web' service for @Google Sheets has been down for 9 hours now.

I hate that @Google forces a useless news app onto my phone that can't be removed. Headlines usually several days old. Worse is the refusal to take down obvious scam ads when reported. Google allows con artists into my feed. Motto now... Do be evil.

Unfortunately, it seems like @KagiHQ is slipping more and more and it doesn't look like they'll be the search engine to knock down Google's. For the last year they've been busy with so many other initiatives (assistant, translation, browser, ...) that search is losing polish.

Android 16 August update Pixel 9 Pro XL and 7a. Selected contact ringtones not working. Only default sound. Restarting Pixel or reinstalling the Google Phone app does not help. Please fix it. Thanks 🙂@madebygoogle @GooglePolska

Anyone ever experience an issue where your Google Apps are not working with mobile data?? The apps work with WiFi but when on mobile data, it says you're offline. Meanwhile, you can browse and use other apps with mobile data. Please help! 😭
