Celebrating Cloud Chaos in last one month so far:
✔️ AWS outage – Oct 20
✔️ Azure outage – Oct 29
✔️ Cloudflare outage – Nov 18
⬜ GCP outage - is anyone even using it enough to notice an outage? 😅
Almost a full house. Who’s next? 😄

What a year, we've had Cloudflare down and AWS several times in one year.
Can it end already

🚨🚨🚨
BREAKING: Possible internet wide outage. Something similar to Cloudfare, Azure and AWS outages of the past few weeks. I am seeing a huge spike with cloudfare on downdetector. Once I pinpoint the root cause I will add more info to this thread 🧵. X is also impacted very

AWS Outage
Microsoft Azure Outage
Cloudflare Outage
All within 30 days,
interesting..

Yesterday Cloudflare had an outage due to the an internal software bug.
Last month, AWS had an outage due to the a latent bug.
Last summer, Crowdstrike had a logic bug. It was the biggest IT outage in history.
None of these were cyberattacks or malware. I would like to think

So we are done with
AWS Outage ☑️
Azure Outage ☑️
Cloudflare Outage ☑️
Google Outage …Loading!

AWS went down on the 20th, Azure on the 29th, and now Cloudflare too. These big cloud platforms are failing back-to-back. what’s really going on?
Cloud services are meant to stay online 99.999% of the year, which allows only about 5 minutes of downtime.

Cloud providers over the past two months: AWS outage, Azure outage, Cloudflare outage.
Let's keep guessing why

Cloudflare went down early yesterday morning, causing half of the internet to go offline. The other day, it was AWS.
While such incidents are rare, when they do occur, it’s quite concerning.

AWS down on Oct 20.
Azure down on Oct 29.
Cloudflare down on Nov 18.
Who’s next?

Cloudflare’s global outage took almost half the internet offline - over 100M users impacted.
After AWS and Azure outages in October, this is the 3rd major infrastructure failure in 45 days.
Heavy AI traffic is causing more frequent #Internet -wide outages.

I don't know but it feels great when some internet outage takes place like the cloudflare or the aws one. I think it make it more interesting as we get to know what went wrong after a few days.
Feels great to be a CS major sometimes!

🚨 Another day, another internet outage
This time Cloudflare, knocking out access for 100M+ users after AWS already failed twice this year.
Makes you think: If a few chokepoints can take the whole internet down… isn’t it time for decentralized infra to step in? 👀

AWS outage - 20 Oct 2025
Azure outage - 29 Oct 2025
Cloudflare outage - 18 Nov 2025
who’s next?

Cloudflare down and almost majority of internet platform inaccessible. And also when the AWS global outage came past month it's also a same scenario for unaccessable internet sites and services.
People should Switch to @pipenetwork for more effecient and low-cost fast services

wth is happening to the internet? first AWS goes down, then cloudfare - many apps still not opening despite cloudfare being up - what's going on?
1d

Cloudflare outage, shortly after AWS outage is a showing how dangerous centralised computing can be. One wrong config file can cascade to the point where people can’t order food, respond to messages, lookup details, etc.
Internet was designed to be distributed and resilient.

AWS Outage - Internet down
Azure Outage - Enterprises down
Cloudflare Outage - Internet down
GCP Outage - Anyways...
Nobody cares about GCP!

This year has been wild. We’ve seen almost everything!
AWS went down, Azure went down, and even Cloudflare faced a major outage.
If anything, it’s a reminder that no platform is too big to fail… and resilience matters more than ever.

Some days ago, AWS was down for some time. Almost half of internet went down. Yesterday Cloudflare was down for some time. The other half (almost) went down.
Really need more decentralisation of hosting of servers.
1d

I want to see a day where we have AWS, Cloudflare, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud are all down at the same time.
We shall even have nowhere to vent from.

Was there an outage this morning? Hadn't noticed.

Today @Cloudflare goes down and suddenly @X, @OpenAI, @Spotify, @Canva and half the apps on my phone blink out.
Last month @awscloud suffers a massive outage. @github has its own rough days.

AWS outage. Its almost as if you needed a private decentralized backend for moments like this.

2025 is the year where tiny updates break huge systems.
- Cloudflare went down from a small config change + heavy traffic.
- AWS US-EAST-1 had an outage from a routine internal update.
- Postgres users on Docker got hit by a “minor” patch that changed the OS under the hood.

#AWS, #CrowdStrike, #Cloudflare – not a great moment for cloud infrastructure!
AWS had a DNS outage that brought down hundreds of services.
CrowdStrike’s previous update knocked out millions of machines.
